As a former military spouse, I was introduced to work as a contractor for a few government contracts. I had the opportunity to work closely with the Department of Defense’s, Defense Logistics Agency. While there I was processing the billing for procured printing material and equipment maintenance program. Prior to that, I was a Payroll Administrator processing the time and attendance and payroll system of a large government security contract. I maintained the payroll for more than 350 employees and worked closely in the HR Department assisting with the new-hire process. I came to work with TransLogistix LLC in July 2015 when they gained their first Amazon Logistics site in Springfield, VA. I evolved gradually with the day to day administrative duties, to later manage the site for the first year and a half since it opened. Until this past October, I made the change and came to work at the corporate office as a Payroll Specialist where I process the payroll for all Amazon Logistics sites which TransLogistix LLC currently operates.
