TL Transportation Team

Scott Foreman,
Vice President

Mr. Foreman has owned and operated transportation companies for thirty years. A 1982 graduate of Syracuse University entered a family run courier business in Washington DC and rapidly took over ownership and built R&S Couriers to one of the largest and premier rush courier companies in the region. During this time period Mr. Foreman served on the board of the Washington Area Courier Association and the DCTA (Trucking Association). In 1992 sold R&S Couriers to US Delivery Systems, the first publicly traded national same day Delivery Company. Through his time at USDS, Mr. Foreman was a Regional Vice President and served on numerous committees which developed national sales, technology, and reporting platforms. After leaving USDS, Mr. Foreman started and grew Field Logistics into a pool distribution company handling the entire East Coast.

Now serving in his second tenure at TransLogistix LLC, Mr. Foreman leads the operations and strategic planning teams. In his tenure, Mr. Foreman has lead the development of our Last Mile White Glove service and forged relationships with some of the Nation’s largest corporations in home pharmaceutical delivery, drug stores, 3PL’s, and home delivery. Mr. Foreman has received numerous commendations from these companies brings this experience and expertise to the TransLogistix LLC team. 

Shirley Washington,
Human Resources Manager

Shirley joined TL Transportation in 2016. She has over 10 years’ experience in the Human Resources field. Shirley has extensive experience working in roles, within large and small companies in a variety of industries including Non- profit organizations, construction, government contracting, and now transportation.

Shirley earned her bachelor’s degree in Business administration from Stevenson University and a MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from Florida Institute of Technology. Shirley is a certified Human Resources Professional (PHR) and is a member of Society for Human Resource Management.

Ron Thomas,
Trucking Manager

With over 25 years of transportation and logistics experience, Mr. Thomas has decided to join our ever growing family. He has compiled a vast knowledge base from essentially every facet of the transportation industry. His most recent position prior to joining TransLogistix LLC  was that of District Manager where he worked hand-in-hand with industry leader Amazon. His resume also includes experience in sales, operations, marketing, supply chain, and warehousing. In his time away from work, he enjoys going to the gun range, hunting, and spending time with friends.

Domenica Crescenzi

Upon high school graduation from Southern Senior High school I attended Towson University to pursue a degree in family and human services with a child life track. With this major I planned to become a child life specialist and work in the hospital setting in the pediatrics department. Throughout my time at Towson University I volunteered at Anne Arundel Medical Center in the pediatric inpatient and outpatient unit and Johns Hopkins Children Center in the infant and toddler unit where I still volunteer today. I also held a part time job as an administrative assistant at the Conte Lubrano Building where I worked for around five years when I was home for the holidays. Once I graduated Towson University in May 2016, I began a part time job with Finamore Services as an office manager as well as doing the pay roll for the company. Now I am working as an administrative assistant at TL Transportation Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday while still volunteering for Johns Hopkins on Mondays and working for Finamore Services on Fridays. I plan to go back to college for a business degree in the following Fall.

Tyler W. Parker

Tyler W. Parker is TL Transportation’s resident database analyst/administrator. Parker is from Howard County, Maryland and currently lives in Baltimore City. Parker earned his B.A. in political science and history from the University of Oklahoma (2015) and will soon receive his Master’s in Public Administration & Policy in economics and environmental policy from the University of Maryland (2017). Parker began working with TL Transportation during the summer of 2016 as a freelance data analyst tasked with multiple projects, such as overhauling the organization’s payroll and data management processes, and has since been hired full-time—joining the rest of the corporate team in Annapolis, Maryland. Parker designs, maintains, and works to optimize many of TL Transportation’s electronic data processing systems, network functions, and archived data in order to generate analytical reports from database queries. 

Tamara Arzuaga,
Payroll Manager

As a former military spouse, I was introduced to work as a contractor for a few government contracts. I had the opportunity to work closely with the Department of Defense’s, Defense Logistics Agency. While there I was processing the billing for procured printing material and equipment maintenance program.  Prior to that, I was a Payroll Administrator processing the time and attendance and payroll system of a large government security contract. I maintained the payroll for more than 350 employees and worked closely in the HR Department assisting with the new-hire process.  I came to work with TransLogistix LLC in July 2015 when they gained their first Amazon Logistics site in Springfield, VA.  I evolved gradually with the day to day administrative duties, to later manage the site for the first year and a half since it opened.  Until this past October, I made the change and came to work at the corporate office as a Payroll Specialist where I process the payroll for all Amazon Logistics sites which TransLogistix LLC currently operates.

Vickie McKendry 

Vickie McKendry joined TL Transportation in the Spring of 2017. Born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs, Vickie graduated high school from the college preparatory The George School and then received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Widener University with honors. She has worked in various areas of accounting over the last 20 years to include running her own small business enterprise. Her work in both large and small corporate settings help to navigate TL Transportation’s dynamic and growing business.
